Update: Ties in Prep, Song Leads Precision Junior Girls’ Championship

On Thursday-Friday, June 23-24, the 2016 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour plays the PGS JR GIRLS CHAMPIONSHIP at Bryan Park Golf Course (Champions Course). Bryan Park, home to the University of North Carolina-Greensboro Spartans golf teams, is a fantastic venue for the fourth championship event of the season. The event features a field 36 players from the PKB Girls’ Golf Tour.

Leading the Prep Series in a tie for first place are Riley Smyth (Cary, NC 2018) and Kathryn Carson (Mooresville, NC 2017) each at 1-over 73.  In a two-way tie for third only one stroke back of the lead are Emily Hawkins (Lexington, NC 2018) and Haeley Wotnosky (Winston-Salem, NC 2018) at 74.  We should have an exciting finish!

Leading the Futures Series is Emily Song (Charlotte, NC 2019) with a 78.  In sole second place with an 82 is Kelley Topiwala (Matthews, NC 2020).  Tied for 3rd place are Siana Wong (Summerfield, NC 2020) and Alyssa Cox (Mount Airy, NC 2019) with an 86.

Prizes will be awarded to the top-6 finishers in each series.  We look forward to a great event!
