The PKBGT returns to action with the Futures Series Open Championship at Spona Ridge Country Club. The field brings together 39 players from four different states. Sapona Ridge, host to many Carolinas junior and amateur events, is a demanding course for this two-day tournament and great location for the event. 
Featured in the tournament next week are Nicole Adam (Pinehurst, NC 2020), Emila Pack (Browns Summit, NC 2019) and Lotte Fox (Raleigh, NC 2020) . Nicole is ranked first on the PKBGT Futures Series Order of Merit and won the PKB Junior, the PKB Foundation Classic, and the Tar Heel Classic this year. Emilia is ranked in second on the Order of Merit and won two events this season at the Palmetto and Carolina’s Classics. Lotte is ranked third on the Order of Merit standings and had six top-five finishes this year, including a win at the One-Day Series event at Carolina Trace.

The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour is an initiative of the Triad Youth Golf Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers. Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers affordable, high-quality nationally ranked girls’ golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls’ golfers for high school and collegiate golf. The PKBGT is the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour with over 450 members in 2015 and 450 girls playing in or committed to collegiate golf.
