The final PKB Invitational Qualifier for the 2015 season was played today at Forest Oaks Country Club in Greensboro, NC. The on-and-off rain throughout the day proved 
challenging for some. Though it may not have been the best day for golf weather-wise, it did not stop the players in the field from shooting some low numbers. With the conclusion of today’s round, five new players have earned their spots into the 2015 PKB Invitational thanks to their good play.
The big winner today was Nicole Adam (Pinehurst, NC 2020) with a fantastic score of 1-over par 73. Nicole’s round got off to a great start when she birded her first two holes. Though she finished the round at 1-over par, her 11 pars on the day proved to be the key to her low round. Adam also qualified for the PKB Invitational thanks to her win today.
Right behind Adam with a 74 was Holly McCann (Raleigh, NC 2019). Despite shooting a 39 on the front nine with a double bogey on the par-5 sixth hole, McCann came back with a 1-under 35 on the back nine thanks to eight straight pars and a birdie on 18. McCann has previously qualified for the Invitational. In a tie for third place was Bailey Davis (White Plains, MD 2021) and Moon Cheong (Charlotte, NC 2017) at 78. Both Davis and Cheong have also already qualified for the Invitational.
The top-five qualifiers for the PKB Invitational are as follows:

3. Katerina Scott (Kingsport, TN 2019) 81
4. Parker Melting (Mint Hill, NC 2018) 83
5. Ryann Sinclair (Mooresville, NC 2019) 83
Congratulations to our top finishers and also our top qualifiers! The 2015 PKB Invitational will take place next week from November 7-9 at Grandover Resort in Greensboro, NC.
The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour is an initiative of the Triad Youth Golf Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers.
