Update: Migliaccio still leading at INVITATIONAL

On Sunday, November 9, the 2015 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour played the secondround of the PKBGT INVITATIONAL at Grandover Resort (East Course). Host of the annual Bridgestone Golf Collegiate tournament, the 2012 NCAA DI Men’s regionals, and the 2011, 2014 & 2015 NCAA DIII Men’s National Championship, Grandover Resort is a challenging course for this three-day event. The event features 60 players. The field is incredibly strong with 22 of the players ranked within the top-500 by Golfweek/Titliest Junior Rankings, 16 players ranked within the top-500 by Junior Golf Scoreboard, and 17 players ranked within the top-30 by the PKBGT Performance Index. With its depth, this event will be the strongest field in PKB Tour history. Eight championship winners and 17 event winners from the 2014 season will be playing at the PKBGT INVITATIONAL.

After round 2, Emilia Miglaccio (Cary, NC 2017) is still leading the field at the PKBGT INVITATIONAL. Migliaccio shot one under par with a score of 71, bringing her two-day total to 145. Not far behind Migliaccio is Aneka Seumanutafa (Frederick, MD 2019) and Jennifer Chang (Cary, NC 2018) who are both tied for second with two-day totals of 149.

Following Sunday’s round, the field was reduced to the top-50 percent; 31 players made the cut all shooting 162 or lower. Weather for Monday’s round looks beautiful with sunny skies and temperatures in the mid 60s. It should be a great weather for the final round of the PKBGT.
