Update: Moon leads Golfdotz Classic

On Monday, June 23, the 2014 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour played the first round of the Golfdotz Classic at the Green Spring Valley Hunt Club. The course hosted the USGA US Junior Girls Championship and is a fantastic course for this two-day tournament. The event features a field of 14 players from the PKB Girls’ Golf Tour, the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour with over 375 members in 2013 and 262 girls playing in or committed to collegiate golf.

In the Bell Division-Prep Series, Jane Moon (Lutherville Timonium, MD 2014) is leading the field by two strokes at eight over par with as score of 80. Not far behind Moon is Eunbbie Kim (Potomac, MD 2015) at 10 over par with a score of 82 and Hanna Jia (Potomac, MD 2015) at 12 over par with a score of 84.

Weather for Tuesday’s round looks beautiful with sunny skies temperatures in the 80s. Should be a great day to conclude the Golfdotz Classic!
